About Us

Welcome to Toby's Cat Cafe!  🐾

We are a proudly woman-owned, mother-daughter team located right here in the heart of Newport News, Virginia, at 10605 Jefferson Ave. Our goal is simple: to provide a warm, loving, and welcoming space where the community can hang out, play board games, enjoy evening events, and unwind over delicious snacks and drinks.

But the absolute best part of our space? THE CATS! 🐱

Our lounge is a cozy, temporary haven for free-roaming rescue cats searching for their forever homes. As passionate animal advocates, we are dedicated to giving these animals the second chances they need. Every visit, every sip of your drink, and belly rub directly supports our adoptable residents.

Whether you want to relax, bond with our wonderful cats, or adopt your new best friend, we can't wait to welcome you. Come on by and see us today!

Toby's Cat Cafe was inspired by our partner Charlotte's beloved, long-haired tuxedo cat, Toby, who was rescued from a Charlottesville animal shelter in 2021.
